Yes. It is often a rescue rather than a rebuild: a site that has slowed down, broken after an update, or been left behind by whoever built it. We start by auditing what is there and telling you honestly whether it is worth repairing or replacing. Sometimes the answer is a repair, and we will say so even though the rebuild would be the bigger job for us.
Yes, but deliberately rather than by default. A typical WordPress site runs twenty or thirty plugins, each one third-party code with access to your database. We write most functionality into the theme instead, and install a plugin only where one is genuinely the better answer: WooCommerce for selling, Yoast for SEO, Carbon Fields for content, Cognito Forms, and caching where a site needs it.
That is what we build towards, and we test against Core Web Vitals before launch rather than treating speed as a cleanup task afterwards.
