It started as a favour for friends.
Zinc began in 2017 as Zinc Digital. Friends had ideas that deserved to exist online and I had the knowledge to build them, so I built them. The name changed as the work outgrew the word digital, but the job has not.
Web development came first, then a partner to lead sales, then the yacht world, seven marine brands in a row. Search, e-commerce, and hosting followed because clients kept asking for the thing after the website. Custom AI came last, and only once it was genuinely useful rather than fashionable.
Somebody arrives with a thing they want to exist, and we make it exist.
- 2017 Zinc Digital
- The turn Web development and a partner
- The expansion SEO, e-commerce, hosting
- Today Custom AI alongside it all
Four things you can hold us to.
You talk to the developer
No account manager and no handoff. The person answering your email writes the code.
Fixed price, in writing
Scoped after a call, priced before anything starts. No hourly billing, no change orders.
You own everything
Domain, hosting, repository, content. Nothing stops working when you stop paying us.
We say when it is not worth it
Sometimes a better process beats the build. We would rather lose the project than sell it.
Thirty developer tools, free, no signup.
We kept writing the same small utilities for ourselves, so we put them online and left them free. No account, no email capture, no upsell. It is the clearest picture of how we work that we can offer without you hiring us first.
tools.zinconlinesolutions.comThe tools are step one.
Zinc started because people around us had ideas and no route onto the web. That problem has not gone away. Once the business can carry it, we want space in South Florida for courses and free resources, aimed at people without an obvious way into this industry. Not a foundation and not a marketing exercise, just the original point, open to more people.
